1: The Inconceivable Truth - A Preamble of the Festival
5.30pm Phillips Hall - FREE
Local Artist Lis Bastian is presenting Al Gore's thought provoking Slide Show, which the movie An Inconvenient
Truth is based upon. Lis was one of just 85 Australians chosen to be personally trained by Al Gore to deliver his
slide show presentation on climate change. How are we humans contributing to Global Warming? How is Global
Warming affecting our planet? What can we do as individuals and as a community to prevent what seems to be the
inevitable? The Climate Project - Australia, Al Gore's climate change leadership
program in partnership with the Australian Conservation Foundation, is a grassroots movement to promote
awareness and action on climate change and might provide some answers to these crucial questions of our time.

2: The Opening Ceremony
6.30pm In the Park - FREE
The Festival acknowledges the Indigenous owners of this land, the Gundungurra and Darug People. Local
Indigenous artists will be performing a smoking ceremony to open the festival followed by music, a community
puppet show and a collaborative collage
symbolising the relationship of humans and the environment. This is an opportunity for the community to reflect on
our history in a social/humanitarian context, as well as environmental context. Families are welcome.

3: Dreamer in the Deep - Dream Puppets
7.30pm Phillips Hall - $10
In Dreamer in the Deep the third adventure in the dreamer series, Dreamer dons a wet suit and flippers and
descends into the depths of the ocean. There, a leafy sea dragon asks for help to find its mate who has been
kidnapped by a greedy scorpion fish. With a sea horse as a guide and travelling companion, Dreamer travels to the
seaweed forests in the temperate seas, to the bottom of the ocean in a submarine and to the tropical waters of the
Great Barrier Reef. They meet many beautiful, exotic and dangerous sea creatures along the way and make a
narrow escape from a curious and hungry anglerfish. In Dreamer in the Deep we observe sea life in all its diversity
and wonder. We even meet an accordion playing crab and his aspiring opera singer cleaning shrimp. Dreamer in
the Deep is suitable for all ages.

4: Puppet Jam
10.00pm Gardner's Inn - Gold Coin
After the opening acts, join the puppeteers in the backroom of the Gardeners Inn at 9.30pm for Puppet Jam. Here
is a unique opportunity to see the puppeteers experimenting with new ideas and new puppets as well as having an
opportunity to use improvisation. The night has a 'behind the scenes' feel to it where punters can mingle with the
artists. Gold coin donation.
