The Designs

Original design concepts for cockatoos. Later changed so leading edges of wings were the widest and back had less
yellow markings, they were based upon a Balinese kite design and were very much two dimensional, mimicking the
Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoo in flight.

The trees were very
stylised and the stark
black and white made for
great contrast to the
colour and softness of the
Waratahs and the Black
Cockatoos.
