Gabrielle Griffin, Mullumbimby, Nsw:
“Ciel”
Born in France 1966, raised and educated in England from 1972-1985 immigrated to Sydney in 1987. An independent performing artist since 1994. She
formed 'Company CHAOS' (a dance company for adults with and without disabilities) with Kat Worth in 1997, and was Assistant Director and performer for 4 years. Gabrielle trained with Janis Claxton, Greg Sheehan, Al Wunder, Di Busuttil and Cheryl Heazelwood, and completed two years study in Dance at the Northern Rivers Conservatorium.
Gabrielle joined 'Krinkl Theatre' in 2003. In 2005 Gabrielle performed in the completed production of 'Suit Yourself' at the One Van International Festival of
Puppetry and attends 'String em up', monthly Puppet workshops in Kyogle. She is a founding member of The Frocks and teaches community dance and improvisation classes. |
